About that chest measurement. It looks large, and it's meant to — a puffer is measured right around the outside, padding and all, and this one is cut deliberately roomy. That generous number is exactly what makes space for a jumper underneath and lets her move freely. Go by her height for the size, and the width will take care of itself.

Looking After It

Padded jackets keep their loft best with gentle handling. Wash it on its own on a cool, gentle cycle, and let it dry fully before she wears it again — a damp puffer stays flat. Giving it a shake while it dries helps the padding settle back into shape.
