Lights & Looking After It
Batteries aren't included. The lights run on three AA batteries, so do pick some up before the big night — it's the one thing that can't wait until the last minute.
The light threads woven through the skirt are very fine, so treat that layer gently: lift the skirt rather than pulling it, and don't tug at the tulle. Handled kindly, it keeps glowing season after season.

- Handle the lit layer of the skirt gently — the threads are fine
- Spot clean only, and never soak the skirt
- Hang to dry, away from direct heat
- Cool iron on the plain layers only, never over the lights
