About that chest measurement. It looks large, and it's meant to — a puffer is measured right around the outside, padding and all, and this one is cut deliberately roomy. That generous number is exactly what makes space for a jumper underneath. Pick by her height and the width takes care of itself.

Looking After It

Padded jackets keep their loft best with gentle handling. Wash it on its own on a cool, gentle cycle, and let it dry fully before she wears it again — a damp puffer stays flat. Giving it a shake while it dries helps the padding settle back into shape.

No bleach and no fabric softener — softener flattens the padding
Dry flat or hang to dry, away from direct heat
Shake it gently a few times while drying to redistribute the filling
Do not iron the padded panels
Make sure it's completely dry before storing it away
